Web7 Technologies is a small, independent hosting company in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It was started by a cybersecurity professional who spent years auditing hosting companies, and decided to build one that does things properly.

Before founding Web7, Zig Warner was head of IT for a global security company, helping more than 100 government agencies improve their security posture.
Part of that work was auditing hosting companies. Time after time, their security practices fell short. Web7 grew out of those audits: a hosting company built with a security-first approach from day one.

Before Web7
Leading IT at a global security company meant working with more than 100 government agencies, and auditing the hosting companies they relied on.

The idea
Instead of writing another audit report, build a host that gets it right from the start: owned hardware, layered firewalls and backups an attacker can't delete.

Today
Fully managed WordPress VPS hosting on servers we own, in a SOC 2 certified data center in Albuquerque. No shared hosting, no white-labeling, no investors.

VDS and bare-metal servers, a second data center in the Twin Cities, solar power, and one day, community data centers with free tech classes.

CUSTOMERS FIRST
We're bootstrapped. Every decision answers to the people we host, not to outside investors.
SECURITY
Four firewalls from different vendors, fast patching and backups you can restore but an attacker can't delete.
HONESTY
We publish exactly what each plan includes and what every spec means. No padded numbers, no "unlimited" fine print.
OWNERSHIP
Our servers are ours, built and run by our team. We don't white-label or resell anyone else's hosting.
COMMUNITY
A small power footprint, closed-loop cooling and a plan for solar. Not that kind of data center.
GIVING BACK
Starting in 2027, we plan to donate server resources to nonprofits, including groups focused on autism, ADHD and mental health.
