Web7 Technologies is privately owned and bootstrapped. We've never taken investor money, and that's exactly why we can put customers first. It also means we pay for every server out of our own revenue.
Right now that's a problem. Memory prices have climbed sharply, and the RAM for our next generation of high-clock servers costs far more than it did even a year ago. We could raise prices or cut corners. We'd rather ask the people who'll actually use those servers to help us build them.

When do I get my WP Pro 4 upgrade?
Within 6 months of backing the campaign, or as soon as we reach 50 backers, whichever comes first. Until then you're hosting on a WP Basic 4 VPS.
What happens if the campaign doesn't reach 500 backers?
You still get everything you were promised: your upgrade to WP Pro 4 within 6 months and your $300/yr price for life. The goal only affects which milestone rewards unlock.
Why pay $300/yr while I'm on WP Basic 4?
Your pledge locks in WP Pro 4, which normally costs $456/yr, at $300/yr for life. WP Basic 4 is the server you use while we bring the new hardware online, so you're never waiting without hosting.
Does "for life" really mean for life?
Yes. As long as your plan stays active and renews, your price stays at $300/yr.
Do I get milestone rewards if I back early?
Yes. Milestone rewards apply to every backer, no matter when they joined.
What are the secret rewards?
They're revealed as we hit 200, 300, 400 and 500 backers. Every backer gets each one as it unlocks.
I'm already a Web7 customer. Can I back the campaign?
Yes. Existing customers are welcome to back the campaign as a second plan. And if you're already on WP Pro 4, when we reach 100 backers your plan will be reduced to the $300/yr backer rate as a thank-you for backing us early in your own way.
Can I get a refund?
Campaign plans follow our standard Terms of Service, which don't currently include refunds. Unlike most crowdfunding, though, you get working hosting from day one, and your upgrade is guaranteed within 6 months.
Will you move my sites when I'm upgraded?
Yes. We migrate your existing WordPress sites for free when you sign up, and we handle the move to your WP Pro 4 server when your upgrade arrives.
When does the campaign end?
The campaign closes on December 31, 2026. Sign up before then to lock in $300/yr for life.
